About
Todd Akers is a freelance photographer living and working in downtown San Diego, California. He has a degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis on photography. He was introduced to photography at an early age but it had always remained a passing interest until the early 90s. That passing interest grew into a passion when he picked up photography courses in college. Through the following decade his passion for photography grew into a career pursuit. His day jobs have included five years as a Design Consultant for a digital service bureau, fourteen years as a Document Production Specialists for a leading math software company, and ten years as a freelance photographer.
Honing his skills as an analog and digital image specialist Todd has consistently provided his clients with quality work. His photographic services has covered a wide range of projects from publication assignments to product photography, corporate portraits, head-shots, model comps, event photography, weddings, family portraits, and more. Todd served as Programs Chairman for American Society of Media Photographers—San Diego, in 2006; and since, has been an active participant in the San Diego photographic community.
